Awareness drive by OIL for women weavers – In remembrance of ‘Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrating 75 years of opportunity of transform India and the magnificent history of its people, culture and accomplishments, Oil India Limited (OIL) attempted an exceptional initiative to foster a weaving group in the more prominent Baghjan space of Tinsukia locale by shaping and supporting 100 Joint Liability Groups. Carried out by State Institute of Panchayat and Rural turn of events (SIPRD) under OIL’s CSR drive, Project Rupantar, 500 women handloom weavers of more prominent Baghjan region will be profiting with this initiative.
In this association, a awareness drive was hung on August 12 at Baghjan ME School among the task recipients within the sight of individuals from Baghjan Navajyoti Mahila Samity, who are expanding support towards this drive.
