CMPDIL conducts Workshop on Emotional Intelligence

At its headquarters in Ranchi, CMPDIL held a one-day workshop on emotional intelligence to help the staff make decisions efficiently without letting their emotions get in the way. The CIL Corporate song was played to kick off the workshop.

Dr. Sanjay Saxena, a professor at the School of Management Sciences at the University of the Punjab in Varanasi, explained emotional intelligence in this workshop. He covered how to control emotions through one’s thoughts and actions using various interventions, such as self-awareness, self-regulation, self-motivation, and managing interpersonal relationships.

In his remarks, the workshop’s chief guest, Shri Manoj Kumar, CMD, CMPDI, urged attendees to recognise their emotional weaknesses and fight to overcome them in order to improve both their personal and professional lives.

In addition to praising the effort, Shri S.K.Gomasta, D(T/ CRD), CMPDI stated that managing employees’ emotions will help the country as a whole.

Prior to that, Shri Charles Juster, GM (P&A), gave a brief overview of the workshop’s purpose and goals. He also promised that CMPDI would hold more events of this nature soon.

The workshop was attended by GMs/HoDs, executives from CMPDI(HQ), and RI-III.
