BPCL observes Partition Horrors Remembrance Day
Mumbai: India remembers the millions of people who suffered during the split in 1947 by observing August 14 as “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day.” The goal of the “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” is to highlight the anguish, suffering, and pain that millions of people experienced as a result of partition. It serves as a reminder of the nation’s largest population shift in the previous century.
The exhibition, which will be on display in public locations for the general public to view from August 10 through August 14, 2022, was co-curated by the Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) and Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) to highlight the aforementioned.
