BPCL and Odisha govt inks MoU for a green initiative

BPCL and Odisha govt – New Delhi: BPCL, India’s second-largest oil marketing company, and the Odisha government signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding for Green Initiatives in the state to collaborate on renewable energy projects, green hydrogen plants, 24/7 power for consumers, infrastructure development, training and knowledge sharing, and more. 
 
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shri Bhupendra Singh Poonia, IAS, Managing Director, Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL), and Shri Amit Garg, Executive Director Renewable Energy, BPCL. 
 
On the occasion, Shri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, IAS, Chief Secretary and Chief Development Commissioner, Government of Odisha, Shri Arun Kumar Singh, C&MD, BPCL, and other dignitaries from the Government of Odisha and BPCL were also present.
