WazirX and Atal Incubation Centre to launch Blockchain park in Goa

Blockchain park in Goa – WazirX, India’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has collaborated with Atal Incubation Centre (AIC), a Goa-based startup incubator, and Buidlers Tribe, a Web3 incubator, to develop a blockchain accelerator programme in the state. The programme will assist businesses in developing go-to-market solutions by providing infrastructure, policy assistance, certification, and training. The incubation centre will provide 40 seats for selected entrepreneurs to collaborate. According to the Economic Survey of Delhi 2021-22, Goa is a popular urban state with the country’s highest per-capita GDP.

It has also seen an increase in the number of professionals and entrepreneurs working from home. According to the statement, these features make Goa an appealing centre for nurturing the next generation of successful Web3 firms. Blockchain and other Web3-related industries would generate 800,000 employment by 2030, according to a NASSCOM and WazirX research.

“When it comes to Web3, India has been a trendsetter.” We have the world’s largest blockchain development ecosystem, putting us at a crossroads on a global scale. Our work is already being recognized on a global scale for its contribution to the Web3 ecosystem. The Goa Blockchain Park aspires to take advantage of these opportunities by providing deep-tech blockchain firms with technical know-how, accreditation, and government policy support. In the next months, we hope to deliver similar training to other Web3 aficionados and pioneers across the country,” stated Pareen Lathia, co-founder of Buidlers Tribe.

The blockchain accelerator programme in Goa, according to Rajesh Joshi, CEO of GIM’s Atal Incubation Centre, will give developers with infrastructure and technical expertise. “Through this programme, we will be able to create a best-in-class and holistic training ecosystem.” Our long-term goal is to boost the economy of our state and create jobs. Entrepreneurs interested in blockchain-based solutions will no longer have to leave the state to pursue their goals, according to Joshi. WazirX and Buidlers Tribe have selected investors that will provide a dedicated money pool to the project throughout the programme.

WazirX will assist entrepreneurs in identifying the value drivers of these revolutionary technologies and equip them with the knowledge they need to develop solutions. It will also ensure the evolution of policy measures and the creation of a policy framework to help startups and the blockchain ecosystem expand faster. “In India, establishing a stable blockchain and Web3 ecosystem for entrepreneurs is important. This will help India lead the Web3 market in the coming years, resulting in more job opportunities and money. The goal is to make Goa a model state when it comes to blockchain technology. We aim to provide our country’s talent with world-class training, equipment, and market access so that they can produce in India and provide innovative solutions around the world.” Aritra Sarkhel is a fictional character created by Aritra Sarkhel
