Bijli Mahotsav at NTPC Lucknow

In New Delhi: On July 28, 2022, at the Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, the Ministry of Power and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, in cooperation with the State Government and District Administration, organized the “Bijli Mahotsav at NTPC” as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence (UP). 
 
The main guest was Shri A.K. Sharma, the U.P. Cabinet Minister for Energy and Additional Energy Resources and Urban Development. 
 
As special guests, Shri Somendra Tomar, U.P.’s Hon. Minister of State (Energy and Alternative Energy), Shri Amresh Kumar, Mohanlalganj’s M.L.A., and Shri Suryapal Gangwar, Lucknow’s District Magistrate, graced the occasion.

The chief guest and other dignitaries lit the lamp to begin the programme. Shri Suryapal Gangwar, the district magistrate of Lucknow, then gave a welcome address. 
 
The program’s chief guest and Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Energy, Additional Energy Resources, and Urban Development, Shri A.K. Sharma, addressed the sizable crowd. The honourable Mohanlalganj MLA, Shri Amresh Kumar Ji, also spoke to the crowd.
