BEL – Women-run MSMEs

Bengaluru: The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has recognised BEL’s achievements in carrying out the Government of India’s Public Procurement Policy. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence PSU, received a Certificate of Appreciation for making the most purchases from women entrepreneurs under the MSME category among Navratna CPSEs in the fiscal year 2021–2022.

The award also recognizes the efforts made by BEL to carry out the Government of India’s Public Procurement Policy mandate.

On November 18, 2022, in Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises of the Government of India presented BEL with the award during the CPSE Conclave on Public Procurement Policy. Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Minister of State for MSME, opened the CPSE Conclave. “Resilience to Resurgence” was the conclave’s theme.

Mr. Manoj Yadav, Additional General Manager (Management Services), accepted the award on behalf of BEL.
