BEE – Awareness session with PEDA

On November 17, 2022, in the PEDA auditorium in Chandigarh, BEE held an informational session on the adoption of ISO 50001:2018 in the #PAT industries.

The ISO 50001:2018 standards offer a global framework for managing energy, covering all facets of procurement and consumption, for industrial plants, commercial buildings, or entire organizations.

This initiative’s goal is to spread awareness of continuous energy improvement, which is the practice of completely integrating energy management into operations and business processes in order to minimize costs and boost profitability.

With 11 designated industries that are a part of BEE’s PHASE 1 and have agreed to embrace ISO 50001:2018 standards, this programme has also given a platform for the signing of Memoranda of Understanding.
