Bajaj Finserv reappoints Sanjiv Bajaj as Managing Director

Bajaj Finserv – On Wednesday, Bajaj Finserv announced that its Board of Directors had reappointed Sanjiv Bajaj as the company’s managing director (MD) for another five years. Under RBI Regulations 2020, Bajaj Finserv is a Core Investment Company (CIC) and the holding company for the Bajaj Group’s numerous financial services businesses. 
 
This is to inform you that, following the recommendation of the corporation’s Selection and Remuneration Committee, the board of directors has re-appointed Sanjiv Bajaj as the firm’s Managing Director for a moreover five-year term, starting up April 1, 2022. 
 
In a stock exchange filing, the business stated. The reappointment will require the consent of the company’s shareholders. Bajaj has been reappointed as MD for a term of 5 years from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2027, and will not be liable to resign by rotation, the filing stated. Since 2008, he has served as the company’s CEO. Since 2020, he has served as chairman and managing director of the company.
