In Gujarat, B Medical Systems opens its first location in India
B Medical Systems – B Medical Systems, a Luxembourg-based global medical cold chain treatments provider, has unlocked its initial Indian manufacturing building in Mundra, Gujarat, for Rs 100 crore.
The new plant can quickly grow up to produce 1,00,000 units of medical cold chain items per year, including vaccine refrigerators, freezers, and transport boxes based on demand, according to the company.
The Mundra plant is the firm’s first manufacturing area outside of Europe, and it is launched to establish hundreds of employment in the Kutch region, according to an announcement published on Wednesday.
In the presence of Rakshit Shah, Executive Director of Adani Ports and SEZ, and others, Peggy Frantzen, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to India, officially launched the facility.
Luxembourg’s Prime Minister, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, as well as the company’s CEO Luc Provost, contributed to the procession via video conferencing.
“The first Made in India multi-mode vaccine refrigerator/freezer and/or ice-pack freezer unit of B Medical Systems,” said Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy play a big role in enhancing the National Animal Disease Control Programme,” according to the statement.
The company’s CEO, Luc Provost, claimed that Mundra has become its “second home” and that the voyage to India has been “flawless.” B Medical Systems India Pvt Ltd CEO Jesal Doshi described it as a “dream come true” and a “historic occasion” for the company.
The company also announced the commencement of two CSR programs for the education of almost 1,000 marginalized children, including orphans and children of doli/palkhi workers, according to the announcement.
