Ashok Leyland saw a 42 percent increase in total CV sales in April
Ashok Leyland – Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group’s main company, reported a 42 percent growth in overall commercial vehicle sales in April, at 11,847 units.
In the same month last year, Ashok Leyland sold 8,340 units, according to a regulatory filing.
Domestic sales increased by 41% to 11,197 units in April 2021, compared to 7,961 units in April 2021, according to the report.
Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles increased by 78% to 7,073 units, up from 3,983 units the previous month.
Light commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market increased by 4% to 4,124 units in April 2021, compared to 3,978 units in April 2021, according to the business.
