According to reports, the internet titan has suggested a multiyear $50 million deal to license journalistic article archives. Apple has approached news organizations such as Condé Nast, publisher of Vogue and the New Yorker, as well as NBC News and IAC, owner of People, the Daily Beast, and Better Homes and Gardens.
According to the source, Apple is attempting to catch up with the generative AI model bandwagon, which lets users to make images and communicate like humans. The technology firm has even created its own internal ChatGPT-style program for its staff. It enables people to evaluate features, summarize content, and answer questions based on previously saved data.

According to The Information, Apple is developing a “Foundational Models” conversational AI model. This project has about 16 people working on it, including numerous Google engineers. This initiative is purportedly led by Apple’s head of AI, John Giannandrea, who was hired in 2018 to improve Siri.
Furthermore, it was said that Apple’s Visual Intelligence section is working on an image generational model, while another group is working on a multimodal AI that can recognize and analyze photos, videos, and text. According to the research, if connected with AppleCare, these models might improve customer interaction and make it easier to execute multistep commands with Siri.
