Anniversary of Road Safety & Traffic Training Park Celebration
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) and the Regional Transport Office of Bhubaneswar commemorated the 8th anniversary of Road Safety & Traffic Training Park in Chandrashekharpur today, with the goal of making Bhubaneswar roads safer (Bhubaneswar).
Mr. Bikash Choudhary (RTO-I, Bhubaneswar), Mr. Biranchi Narayan Adhikari (RTO-II, Bhubaneswar), Mr. Shiv Pratap Singh (Chief Manager, Customer Service, Odisha) and members from Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India were present for the occasion.
In June 2014, HMSI inaugurated its first adopted traffic training park in East India in Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with the Odisha Motor Vehicle Department.
Anniversary of Road Safety
HMSI said that since its establishment, it has educated more than 2.20 lac people in Bhubaneswar (more than 80,000 kids along with 1,47,000 new and old riders including both male and females) through its daily trainings for all age categories.
Honda places a high premium on road safety all around the world. In April 2021, Honda declared, “Honda will strive towards zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles globally by 2050.” HMSI has promoted road safety in India as part of its corporate social responsibility since its founding in 2001. (CSR).
HMSI’s road safety awareness project, which is working to realize Honda’s global safety vision, has already reached over 45 million Indians. Its team of highly trained safety instructors conduct daily programmes at its 10 traffic parks and 7 Safety Driving Education Centres across India (SDEC).
