The first-of-its-kind Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card is launched
Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card – Bharti Airtel and Axis Bank launched a strategic alliance today to provide a number of new financial and digital services, including a co-branded credit card, pre-approved quick loans, and Buy Now Pay Later options.
According to Airtel, the agreement will assist enter Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets by enabling greater acceptance of digitized payments, thanks to its extensive reach across the country.
The alliance launched the ‘Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card’ to provide Airtel users with a variety of incentives like cashbacks, special discounts, digital coupons, and complimentary services.
“Airtel customers will gain access to Axis Bank‘s world-class financial services portfolio and exclusive benefits through this win-win telco-bank partnership, while Axis Bank will benefit from Airtel’s strong digital capabilities and deep distribution reach,” said Gopal Vittal, MD, CEO, Bharti Airtel.
Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card
Users of the ‘Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card’ would receive 25% cashback on Airtel Mobile/DTH recharges, as well as Airtel Black and Airtel Xstream Fiber payments. Customers will also receive 10% cashback on Electricity/Gas/Water bill payments made through the Airtel Thanks app, 10% cashback on preferred merchant purchases, 1% cashback on all other spends, and a Rs 500 Amazon e-Voucher upon card activation within 30 days of issuance.
This credit card will be issued through the Airtel Thanks app, and Axis Bank will use Airtel’s digital services to enhance digital capabilities, including its C-PaaS platform – Airtel IQ, which includes voice, messaging, video, streaming, call masking, and virtual contact center solutions, according to Airtel.
