17th July 2023 – On 14th July 2023, the Honourable Chairperson of the Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission, Sh. Kumar Sanjay Krishna, IAS(Retd), visited the Shillong Centre of NERLDC, GRID-INDIA to study the current electricity scenario in the North Eastern States.

The Honourable Chairperson initially visited the NERLDC Control Centre, which was followed by a discussion on the Overview of NER, with a special emphasis on Assam’s power sector.
This debate was attended by NERLDC Executive Director Sh. Nabarun Roy, as well as the Heads of Departments and other senior executives from the region.
