Advani Hotels to go ex-dividend, Technocraft ex-buyback

Shares of Advani Hotels & Resorts will stop paying dividends on Thursday. Today, Technocraft Industries will stop buying back shares. The boards of two companies, Retro Green Revolution and Lotus Chocolate Company, will discuss proposals for the issuance of preferred shares. While the board of AF Enterprises will later today contemplate a rights issue, the board of RO Jewels will decide between a bonus issue and a stock split.

Today marks the ex-dividend date for Advani Hotels & Resorts. A interim dividend of Rs 2 per share had been declared by the firm. On January 15, the dividend will be paid.

Today is the last day for share buybacks at Technocraft Industries. The record deadline for identifying the shareholders who are entitled to the repurchase and the eligible shareholders is December 30. The share repurchase plan, with a maximum offer size of 15 lakh shares and a buyback price of Rs 1,000 per share, had been authorized by the corporate board on November 14.

According to a filing made on December 26 by Lotus Chocolate Firm, the company would evaluate and approve the issuing of the redeemable preference shares through a preferential issue on a private placement basis.

The AF Enterprises board would consider issuing shares via a rights issue to the company’s current shareholders today at the factory or corporate office in Faridabad. On December 21, RO Jewels announced that on December 29 it would review and approve either the issuance of bonus shares or a stock split.

In the F&O segment today, shares of Balrampur Chini Mills and Indiabulls Housing Finance are both prohibited. When a security’s derivative contracts reach 95% of the market’s position limit, they are prohibited (MWPL). The derivative contracts for the aforementioned security are not open to new positions. When open interest in the stock falls below 80% of the MWPL across exchanges, this restriction is eliminated.
