Adani Enterprises ventures into media with AMG Media Network

Adani Enterprises ventures – Adani Enterprises Limited stated on Wednesday that it has formed AMG Media Networks, a wholly-owned subsidiary having an initial authorised and paid-up share capital of Rs 1,00,000.

The new subsidiary will be responsible for media-related activities such as publishing, advertising, broadcasting, and content distribution across various forms of media networks. AMG Media Networks Limited, directed by Gautam Adani, will begin business activities in due time, according to a statement.

Adani also announced a minority ownership in Quintillion Business Media Private Limited (“QBM”), a Quint Digital indirect subsidiary, last month in March.

The planned transaction with the Adani Group is just for QBM, a digital business news platform, and has nothing to do with Quint Digital’s other digital media/media tech properties including The Quint, Quintype Technologies, thenewsminute, and Youthkiawaaz, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, during the late-trade session on Wednesday, Adani Enterprises’ shares fell 2.80% to Rs 2,330 a share on the BSE.
