Adani Enterprises to acquire stake in General Aeronautics

Stake in General Aeronautics – Adani Enterprises announced on Friday that it has reached a definitive deal to buy a 50% investment in General Aeronautics Private Limited, a company that delivers commercial drone-based crop protection solutions. 
 
The transaction will be completed by July 31, 2022, according to Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Gautam Adani-led company.

Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited, according to the business, would deliver end-to-end solutions for the domestic agricultural market by leveraging its military drone and AI/ML capabilities, as well as collaborating with General Aeronautics.

Stake in General Aeronautics

General Aeronautics, founded in 2016, is an end-to-end agri platform solution provider situated in Bengaluru, India. It uses artificial intelligence and analytics to provide robotic drones and drone-based solutions for crop protection, crop health, precision farming, and yield monitoring in the agriculture sector. 
 
On the BSE, Adani Enterprises’ shares closed 1.58 percent higher at Rs 2,080.10 a share on Friday.
