3 coal mines auctioned during 3rd tranche

3 coal mines auctioned successfully – Shri Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines, spoke about the successful auction of commercial coal mining today in New Delhi. 
 
Three coal mines have been successfully auctioned during the ongoing third tranche, according to him, with the final offer of premium as follows: 
 
1. Assam’s Garampani – 288.25 percent 
2. Maharashtra’s Majra – 18.25 percent 
10.25 percent in Meenakshi, Odisha. 
 
The premium offered by the Garampani coal mine is the highest premium offered to date. These three coal mines have a total geological reserve of 316.734 MT and a cumulative peak-rated capacity (PRC) of 12.50 MTPA. 
 
Once operational, these mines will contribute to the growth of local economies and provide jobs for local residents.
