NTPC to organize 9th edition of O&M IPS 2020
RAIPUR: NTPC to organize the 9th edition of O&M IPS 2020. The ninth edition of ‘O&M-Indian power plant (IPS) 2020’ at Raipur is going to be organized by India’s largest power producer company, NTPC Ltd, It will commemorate the synchronization of NTPC’s 1st unit at Singrauli on Feb 13, 1982, with the annual power conclave.
As in the event, the conference is going to be persisted on the 13th & 14th of February. The conference will showcase day-long sessions on environment management, power station safety, renewable energy, and technology advancement within the power sector. Around 750 delegates from the facility sector in India, the USA, Germany, Japan, Australia, South Korea, and the UK are expected to attend the conference.
The overarching theme for the 9th edition IPS 2020 conference is ‘Optimisation of Generation Cost & Integration of Renewables’. The 2-day conference anticipates will include participants from the facility sector, including representatives from Advisory & regulatory agency, power station professionals, power consultants, start-ups, Power equipment manufacturers, etc.
Shri S.N. Sahai, The Union Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Secretary, GOI, Shri Prakash Mhaske, Chairperson Central Electrical Authority (CEA) alongside Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC and Board of Directors in NTPC also will be present. Shri R K Singh has expressed his consent to be present at the inauguration ceremony of the conference and beauty the occasion as chief guest. Shri R.K Singh will release the Sustainability Development report and deliver the Business Excellence awards to winners of NTPC power stations during the conference. The Union Minister will inaugurate NTPC’s new facility, named the Vishwesariyya Bhawan at Naya Raipur.
